The plugin WP-Sticky allows to create a post that remains over the rest of posts of the page, so that it always appears in the beginning of the Blog, this realizes across the option of “announcement” , and also, turns the “sticky posts”, in post featured but only for the day when is published.
You can create a post that the first one always appears independently of the day that is published or if you publish several posts the same day can do that one of them always turns out to be first for this day.
